Re: update on MOU negotiations and notice of vote for ratification
Hello AFSCME Local 127 Members,
WE DID IT!
After many long hours at and away from the negotiating table beginning November 2022, the Bargaining Team of AFSCME Local 127 and the City of San Diego have come to a “Total Package Tentative Agreement,” or a tentative MOU. Now, we need you – the members of AFSCME Local 127. We need you to vote “YES” to ratify this hard-fought and intensely negotiated MOU on Wednesday, 5/10 @ the General Membership Meeting (GMM).
Here are some of the principal terms of this MOU:
Economic Proposals | ||||||||||||
General salary increases
| ||||||||||||
SSAs/equity increases
| ||||||||||||
Retirement
| ||||||||||||
Flex benefits
|
Non-Economic Proposals |

That is “THE UNION DIFFERENCE!”
For these reasons and more, we need you to vote “YES” to ratify this hard-fought and intensely negotiated MOU on Wednesday, 5/10 @ the GMM.On behalf of your Bargaining Team of AFSCME Local 127, we thank you in advance for your support!
