Endorsement Questionnaire

Candidates interested in seeking the endorsement of AFSCME Local 127 must have completed the candidate questionnaire, prior to be invited for an interview for an endorsement.

Endorsement Timeline

For the 2026 election cycle, AFSCME Local 127 has the following timeline:

  • City of San Diego required interested candidates to complete our candidate questionnaire no later then 5:00 pm on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Interested candidates then were scheduled for an AFSCME Local 127 candidate interview during August 2025. After the outcome of the candidate interviews, then the Executive Board and General Membership Meeting voted during their meetings in September 2025. 

    Questionnaire: 

  • City of Coronado and City of Lemon Grove will require interested candidates to complete our candidate questionnaire no later then 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Interested candidates then will be scheduled for an AFSCME Local 127 candidate interview during July 2026. Depending on the outcome of the candidate interviews, then the Executive Board and General Membership Meeting could bring the matter up during their meetings in August 2026. (Pending)
