AFSCME's "Staff the Front Lines" in San Diego
AFSCME's nationwide "Staff the Front Lines" bus tour stopped in San Diego yesterday morning!
During a listening session, leaders from AFSCME, the City of San Diego, and the State of California shared ideas on how to increase staffing levels across all departments within the City of San Diego. Immediately following the listening session, AFSCME hosted a press conference. At the press conference in the Civic Center Plaza, AFSCME leaders - including Lee Saunders, Doug Moore, and Tim Douglass - and Mayor Todd Gloria spoke on solidifying their respective committments to fill vacancies and on workinging collaboratively to ensure desirable jobs in the City of San Diego improve.
